Could Roy Moore say anything that would make you vote for Doug Jones?
Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore is well-known for making statements about Islam, same-sex marriage and transgender soldiers that infuriate many on the left and cause consternation among some in the national Republican establishment.
Those remarks, however, are not keeping him from leading Democrat Doug Jones in many polls ahead of the December 12 U.S. Senate election.
While some in the national party, including retiring Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, have been openly critical of Moore, others, including Texas Sen. John Cornyn and Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, have endorsed Moore.
"I’m a Republican," Battle explained. "I’ll end up endorsing Roy Moore for the Senate because, as Republicans, we back the Republican ticket."
For Republican voters, is there anything Roy Moore could say between now and Dec. 12 that would cause you to cast your ballot for Doug Jones instead?
